Nissan will bring back the Terrano. Will be based on the Dacia Duster

The Nissan Terrano stopped being produced many years ago, but now the Japanese brand, which is a partner of Renault, which in turn owns Dacia, decided to re-use the name Terrano in a vehicle whose base is the Duster. Together with this announcement, Nissan also revealed a sketch showing what the new SUV will look like.

From what i can see, the profile of the car will remain the same with the biggest changes happening at the front and back of this upcoming model. Nissan will, of course, give it the brands look, and differentiate it from the model which is based upon. The interior should be more refined, with a more luxurious look and better materials.

The new "premium crossover" should arrive at dealers at the end of the year and should be produced at the Renault-Nissan factory in Oragadam, Chennai, India. The new Terrano will have a price greater than the Duster.
