Spain will get another major investment from a carmaker


The German company Volkswagen said last week it would invest around 785 million euros ($1 billion) in a plant in northern Spain over the next five years, making it the third company in recent months that announced a major investment in that country with severe economy problems.

Nissan confirms Nismo version of the Leaf


Shoichi Miyatani, President of Nissan Motorsport International Limited (Nismo) said to Autocar that the Leaf Nismo, which was recently introduced at the Tokyo Auto Salon, will enter production in Japan this summer, and depending on how it performs it may also be sold in Europe and/or in the United States of America.

This isn't really a new concept because it was already displayed at the Geneva Motor Show in March, but Nissan also brought it to Los Angeles to preview "the next-generation of Nissan crossovers".

2013 Nissan Leaf gets a cheaper version, new engine and is also lighter

 
On the outside there aren't any changes to the new Leaf but on the inside there was a little revolution, including a weight reduction (the 2013 model loses 80kg or 176lbs) and a bigger range (228km with a full charge).

Nissan GT-R 2013


Nissan GT-R is a supercar that keeps evolving, since the day it was introduced back in 2008. The engine is still the same 3.8-liter VR38DETT twin-turbo V6 that first had 480bhp and over the years has seen many power increases until it reaches 545bhp for the 2013 model.
